02 / Original films

Beyond the recap. Real stories.

Superman Parody is a movie Joe made with a group of Ontario Christian High School students as a passion project. It's the kind of cinematic, story-driven work he wants to make a lot more of.

05 / Aerial

Licensed to fly. Ready to lift off.

Joe is an FAA Part 107 certified remote pilot, so drone footage is flown legally and professionally for commercial work, not as a hobby.

  • FAA Part 107 certified remote pilot
  • Aerial establishing shots, event sweeps and facility overviews
  • Flights planned around airspace, weather and venue rules
  • Add aerial coverage to any shoot, or book it on its own
Plan an aerial shoot

Aerial coverage depends on location, airspace authorization, venue approval and weather.

07 / About

Meet Joe. Storyteller first.

Joe Owner · FAA Part 107 pilot

Reel Focus Media is run by Joe, who leads our projects from the first call to the final edit, with one belief behind every shoot: every event has its own story waiting to be told. That means blending into the background, letting moments unfold naturally and making sure every important detail ends up on screen.

Joe is also an FAA Part 107 certified drone pilot, and he teaches video as a VAPA (Visual and Performing Arts) specialist at Glenmeade Elementary. The Glenmeade Fall Festival promo in our reels was made by his student videography team.

Next up: more cinematic, story-driven work, like the film he made with Ontario Christian High School students. Whether it's an expo recap, an explainer your community will actually watch or a story that deserves the big-screen treatment, Joe wants to hear about it.

— Joe, Owner, Reel Focus Media

Recent work includes projects for Valley County Water District, Ontario Christian School Theatre, the WWP Maintenance & Construction Expo, Glenmeade Elementary, WaterWisePro and the LA County Fire Recruit Academy 177 graduation, plus live sets from City Beat & the Main Street Horns and Darasuum.

10 / FAQ

A few things to know.

How much does a project cost?

Wedding packages start at $1,800. Events, agency, school, music and aerial projects are quoted on scope, location and deliverables. We'll confirm your price before booking.

Are you licensed to fly a drone commercially?

Yes. Joe holds an FAA Part 107 remote pilot certificate. We review airspace, venue rules and weather before every flight.

Can you deliver vertical videos for social media?

Yes. We regularly deliver 9:16 reels alongside horizontal films, so one shoot can cover YouTube, your website and Instagram.

Where do you work?

We're based in the Inland Empire and regularly work throughout the Los Angeles area. We're also happy to travel, so if your project is farther out, just ask.

How fast will I get my video?

It depends on our current workload. When the schedule is open, most projects are delivered in under a month. During busy seasons it can take up to about two months. We'll give you a delivery estimate when you book.
